Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all tickets purchased through sites operated on the platform of Fanz Software Inc. (“Fanz”). This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions and must be read together with them.
Fanz acts as a technology provider of the ticketing platform. Responsibility for the execution, cancellation or rescheduling of events lies exclusively with the Organizer of the event.
2. General Refund Policy
As a general rule, tickets purchased are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-returnable, except in the cases expressly provided for in this Policy. By completing a purchase, the Buyer accepts this condition.
Fanz service fees and payment processing costs are always non-refundable, regardless of the reason for the refund.
3. Cancelled Events
If an Organizer definitively cancels an event (without rescheduling), the following rules apply:
- The Organizer is solely responsible for communicating the cancellation to Buyers and for defining the refund conditions.
- Fanz will process the refund of the face value of the ticket only after receiving written instruction from the Organizer, indicating the affected buyers and the amounts to be refunded.
- The refund covers exclusively the face value of the ticket. Fanz service fees and processing costs are not refunded.
4. Rescheduled Events
When an event is rescheduled to a new date:
- Tickets purchased remain valid for the new date, unless the Organizer indicates otherwise.
- If the Buyer cannot attend on the new date, they must contact the Organizer directly to request a solution (refund, credit or exchange), as this decision is exclusive to the Organizer.
- Fanz does not issue refunds for rescheduled events without the express authorization of the Organizer.
5. Refund Requests by the Buyer
Buyers who consider themselves entitled to a refund must first contact the Organizer of the event, who is responsible for the commercial policy of their event.
If the Organizer authorizes the refund and the Buyer does not receive a satisfactory response, they may contact Fanz at soporte@fanz.com.ar providing:
- Full name and email address associated with the purchase.
- Order number or ticket code.
- Name and date of the event.
- Reason for the request and, where applicable, the Organizer's communication authorizing the refund.
6. Refund Timeframes and Method
Once the refund has been approved by the Organizer and processed by Fanz:
- The amount is credited to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
- The estimated crediting timeframe is 5 to 15 business days, depending on the issuing bank and the payment gateway used.
- An email confirmation will be sent once the refund process has been initiated.
- Fanz is not responsible for delays attributable to the issuing bank or the third-party payment processor.
7. Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Fanz service fees.
- Payment gateway processing costs.
- Charges for the issuance of physical tickets or shipping, when applicable.
8. Fraudulent Purchases and Chargebacks
In the case of transactions suspected of fraud, Fanz reserves the right to suspend the delivery of tickets and withhold funds until the corresponding investigation is completed. Chargebacks issued by the Buyer's bank will be handled according to the procedures established by the applicable payment gateway.
The fraudulent use of payment methods to purchase tickets may result in the cancellation of the purchase, the blocking of the account and reporting to the competent authorities.
9. Organizer Refund Policies
The Organizer may establish its own refund policy for its events, publishing it on the event page or at the time of sale. If the Organizer establishes more favorable conditions for the Buyer, those conditions shall prevail over this general Policy with respect to the refund of the face value of the ticket.
Under no circumstances may an Organizer's refund policy transfer to Fanz the obligation to bear the cost of the refund, nor modify the non-refundable nature of Fanz service fees.
10. Force Majeure
If an event is cancelled due to force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, health emergencies or other events beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer), the refund conditions will be determined by the Organizer in conjunction with the guidelines of the competent authorities. Fanz will collaborate in the logistical management of the refund, but assumes no financial responsibility for the tickets.
11. Changes to this Policy
Fanz reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be published on this page with the corresponding update date. Purchases made before the modification will be governed by the version of the Policy in force at the time of purchase.
